BOSS Menswear Pre-Fall 2018

Time for a break – not just a short break but a true vacation, experiencing all the exotic pleasures and sensations of a tropical holiday.

BOSS MENSWEAR creates a capsule High Summer collection that reflects the spirit of a tropical vacation. It’s summed up best in our palm tree prints – the palm is such an iconic tree, instantly suggestive of hot weather, vacations and trips to distinct climes.

There are two palm tree prints including a distinctive print with a zig-zag motif running in horizontal rows, perfect for cocktails by the poolside bar. The accent is on dress-down style including palm-print polo shirts, tees and bags.

This collection places strong emphasis on the comfort and ease of jersey, with polo shirts, tees and shorts to the fore, including new 100% linen styles. Check out lightweight knitwear and leisure shirt options. Unstructured paper-touch cotton jackets and trousers complete the picture. Shapes are loose and relaxed, with all pieces offering versatility – mix them up to suit your personal style.

Overdyed look run through offered collection styles. The color palette includes bright white, light grey, sand beige, light terracotta, bottle green, celestial blue and smoked blue, with pops of poppy red, bright emerald and bright blue. A final message from denim includes embroidery with the palm-tree motif reworked. That tropical vacation has turned from dream to reality.

Welcome to the modern city, such a versatile playground for experimentation and exploration. Inspired by the dynamic urban environment, the Pre-Fall 2018 collection from BOSS Menswear appeals to a new generation of individualists.

In a digitally-driven world, we also note a counter-trend that yearns to escape from all this hyper connectivity. One form of escape is to become a crosstown pioneer exploring the urban playground – inspiring a collection full of unexpected details and colors, drawing on the energy of active sportswear, particularly climbing gear. The climbing theme runs throughout in the details, from the zigzag top stitching-s to sporty rib tapes and rope motifs.

This fresh perspective delivers a modern wardrobe where the broken suit takes center stage, responding to the easy, relaxed style of modern dressing – best summed up in a jersey mélange broken suit. Wool and mohair as solid or textures are key for suiting-s, with some design emphasis the way of modern checks. Technical cotton fabrics play their part in leisure tailoring, from a nylon jacket with the signature print to a climbing-inspired jacket with patch pockets.

The emphasis is on combining new tailoring with an infusion of sports styles. Leather and nylon are worked together for the perfect go-anywhere jacket, while canvas jackets feature contrast shiny nylon patch pockets.

Pure silk shirt with camp-collar in iconic micro pattern for a new twist into the collection. Multi-color crewnecks, hoodies and leisure pants with zigzag top stitching are all blended into the message, with emphasis on contrast-color necklines and collars as well as elasticated-cuff leisure pants. The new sports-influenced style, explored in exceptional fabrics and with a fine attention to detail, represents a fresh take on elegance.

The color palette includes bright white, sand beige, opal gray mélange, medium gray mélange, smoked pearl, bright emerald, bottle green, cobalt blue and dark navy, with pops of valiant red and sun-dried tomato.

This carefully conceived Pre-Fall collection hits all the right fashion buttons and acts as a link and transition to the full Fall/Winter season.
