Chopard hosts the ‘Alpine Eagle, Rebirth of an Icon’ watch exhibition in Shanghai

Founded in 1860, Swiss watch and jewellery Maison Chopard recently unveiled a magnificent and inspiring exhibition themed ‘Alpine Eagle, Rebirth of an Icon’. Complete with a specially curated Haute Horlogerie Forum and an exclusive gala dinner in Fotografiska, Shanghai, the event celebrated the free spirit and daring vision of the Maison’s iconic timepiece collection.

In addition to Chopard Co-President Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, the event was graced by Chopard Global Ambassadors, Chinese actors Zhu Yilong and Lei Jiayin, and Friends of the Brand, Chinese actors Zhang Linghe and Olympic champion Wang Shun, leading guests on an immersive journey to discover the timeless allure of Chopard’s exceptional creations.

Two new 41 mm-diameter Alpine Eagle China limited-edition models were presented on this occasion, adorned with a dial in an original "Danxia Red" colour. Inspired by the palette of natural colors and magnificent landforms which shape the beautiful Danxia landscape in China, a brilliant red color enlivened with rock-like patterns appear on the textured dial, demonstrating the collection’s passion and admiration for the lofty and majestic power of nature.

Crafted from Chopard's exclusive resistant and luminous Lucent Steel™ made with a recycling rate of at least 80%, or in ethical 18-carat rose gold, the two models come in a limited edition of 88 pieces and 33 pieces respectively and equipped with Chopard 01.01-C movement, whose high-precision timing is authenticated by chronometer certification.
