Chopard Loves Cinema Partner to the 36th Golden Rooster Awards

From November 1st to 4th 2023, the 36th Golden Rooster Awards were held in Xiamen, China.

As the exclusive official watch and jewellery partner, Chopard had the privilege of reaffirming its unconditional romance with cinema.

The Maison accompanied many talents who came to promote their films, including Cecilia Yip, Kara Wai, Yan Ni, Zhang Xiaofei, Tan Zhuo, Qi Xi, Wan Qian, Liu Yase, Huang Miyi, Chen Yanxi, Lei Jiayin, Yang Haoyu, Hu Jun, Song Yang, Yuan Hong, Sun Yizhou, Timmy Xu, Hou Wenyuan, Huang Xiyan, and Tim Yip.

Driven by its Co-President Caroline Scheufele’s passion for the seventh art, Chopard nurtures a longstanding love affair with cinema. The Maison has been a loyal official partner of the Cannes Film Festival for over 25 years, as well as of the Festival Lumière in Lyon (France) and the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia).

Over the years, Caroline Scheufele has woven enduring ties with numerous directors, artists, stylists, actresses and actors, whose work she closely follows. She has accompanied Chopard at red carpet appearances, helping actresses to shine with her Haute Joaillerie creations during the promotion of their films, as well as on the silver screen, as demonstrated by the Maison’s participation in movies such as Rocketman (Dexter Fletcher, 2019), Aline (Valérie Lemercier, 2020) and No Time To Die (Cary Joji Fukunaga, 2020).

The love affair between Chopard and cinema also gave rise to the Trophée Chopard, awarded each year since 2001 during the Cannes Festival to highlight the talent of a young up-and-coming actress and actor on the international scene.
