Created in 1993 and featuring an innovative combination of steel and diamonds, the Happy Sport has been subtly distilling its audacity and modernity through the watchmaking world for almost three decades. It extends its power of seduction to snow-capped peaks with Happy Snowflakes, a capsule collection vividly illustrating the scope of Chopard's talents and creativity. Like a snowball packed with joy and freshness breaking the monotony of winter, a 30 mm stainless steel watch stages iconic dancing diamonds and a dainty gold snowflake whirling on its finely hammered silver-toned dial. Available with a polished or diamond-set bezel, this timepiece beats to the rhythm of the Chopard 09.01-C automatic movement and a 42-hour power reserve. It is paired with a white leather strap and can be complemented by a matching pendant made of 18-carat white ethical gold and diamonds.

Admiring the dance of time
Feminine and playful, technical and precious, timeless and modern: Happy Sport embodies the quintessence of a successful watch. With its dancing diamonds revelling in their freedom between the two sapphire crystals protecting the dial, it embodies the essence of casual chic style, whatever the occasion or season.

As winter approaches, the Chopard icon appears in a stainless steel 30 mm interpretation combining its three dancing diamonds with a gemset ethical 18-carat white gold snowflake inspiring its name.

The Happy Snowflakes watch is available with a polished or diamond-set bezel, while the faceted crown is embellished with a sapphire. Its delightfully rounded, feminine case houses the Chopard 09.01-C mechanical movement with automatic winding ensuring a 42-hour power reserve. Entirely made in the Manufacture's workshops, this calibre is visible through the watch's transparent case-back. The wintry look of the watch is perfected by an elegant satin-finished white leather strap.

Setting a sparkling stage
With the Happy Sport collection, Chopard has revolutionised women's relationship with time, which they no longer simply read off, but instead contemplate the endlessly renewed dance of the gems twirling around the dial. This is a technical feat that only a few diamond choreographers can accomplish, ensuring that each dancing element is arranged and assembled in such a way that its endless whirl is never impeded.

To create the backdrop for this enchanting tableau, the workshops of the Maison have designed a hammered silver-toned Happy Snowflakes dial enlivened by shimmering reflections that catch the light, playing with the sparkle of the diamonds and the dancing snowflake. Thanks to this virtuoso craftsmanship, the dial brilliantly reproduces the purity of a snowy mantle glistening in the rays of the winter sun. It provides a very elegant display of hours, minutes and seconds, complemented by rhodium-plated hands and Roman hour-markers.

The Maison also interprets its dancing snowflake in a matching pendant in ethical 18-carat white gold. Brimming with gaiety and freshness, it radiates an elegant and free-spirited aura of femininity.

Origins of the dancing diamonds
Since their invention in 1976 in the heart of the Chopard workshops, dancing diamonds have been spreading joy around the world. Immediately adopted by women, these diamonds housed between two sapphire crystals in a fine gold ‘spinning top’ distil their Joie de Vivre in a swirl of light.

The vision of a cascading waterfall inspired the Maison's designers to release diamonds from their setting and restore their full brilliance. Free, bathed in light and delightfully airy, the aptly named "Happy Diamonds" have since acquired a reputation for daring watch and jewellery collections celebrated around the world.
