Dolce&Gabbana in this Women's Spring Summer 2022 collection reinterprets women's fashion and contemporaneity, in the spirit of optimism, strength and joy, celebrating the 2000s, mixing in a surprising, creative and modern way textures, colours, fabrics, styles and garments. The focus is on being sexy, sensual and positive. The designers present a new mix and match that is expressed through a different interpretation of reality, of our DNA, made of strong combinations, imagination, creativity and attention to detail and research. The brand's iconic floral prints and graphics are mixed with iconic animal prints, jewelled miniskirts, brocades, lingerie, denim with stone applications and a new vision of DNA. Reinterpretations of the camouflage world blend with prints, dresses and micro-bikini jewelry made of luminous crystals, a reflection that embodies the pure joy and beauty. The masculine and the jackets, emblems of tailoring, are reinvented through deep research of new shapes and volumes. The bolero jackets see the sleeves become protagonists, hyper-volumetric and hyper-creative, giving us a precious and unique collection that pays homage to Italian creativity and craftsmanship, the handmade. True to our DNA, rigorously black Sicilian underwear becomes outwear, lingerie, corsetry and brassieres impose themselves with a new sexy attitude, used in contrast with male looks, low-waisted trousers and micro-skirts embroidered with oversize crystal buckles. In the world of accessories, legs are the protagonist. Jewel heel sandals, high heel boots with fringes made of brocade, block colour satin or embroidery are chosen to enhance a new way of being and feeling confident, sexy and glamorous at the same time. The bags proposed to complement the RTW emphasize all the looks, the iconic Dolce Box becomes even more exclusive, made with various craft techniques, have a new shoulder strap , the new Sicily and the 3.5 are presented in new colours, function and volumes. Stefano and Domenico with their kaleidoscopic vision reinvent themselves and play once again with fashion, giving in this fashion show great space to creativity: the result is an evocative journey back to the roots of D&G and a new vision of contemporary feminine universe.
