Burberry celebrates the launch of its latest Thomas Burberry Summer Monogram collection by journeying across the world for a series of immersive takeovers in luxury holiday destination hot spots, with the latest of the series opening today at Tanjong Beach Club in Singapore.
As a continued celebration of the brand’s heritage and exploration of the outdoors, a bespoke iteration of the TB Summer Monogram will take over everything from sunbeds and seat cushions, to parasols and cabanas. Enclosed in oak brown borders, the TB Summer Monogram will also adorn a large 7-metre high wall mural within the beach club as well as a custom Burberry two-seater swing.
Creating a vibrant visual experience and bringing together the iconography of the brand with the adventure of a summer holiday, the new TB Summer Monogram sees the classic Burberry Check merge with the TB Monogram - a motif introduced by Chief Creative Officer, Riccardo Tisci. The result is a bold print that symbolises a synergy of the past and present, and a collection that evokes both a sense of newness and a casual coolness for hotter climes.
The new TB Summer Monogram collection is available to purchase at a special pop-up store at Tanjong Beach Club, as well as online and in selected Burberry stores. Realised in a bespoke sunset-orange design, the Tanjong Beach Club pop-up features a selection of men’s, women’s and childrenswear from the TB Summer Monogram collection, including T-shirts, shirts, shorts, swimwear and a range of accessories, together with the Lola bucket bag and crossbody bag.

To celebrate the launch of the takeover, friends and family of the brand were invited to a cocktail party in the space including Bright Vachirawit, Chantalle Ng, Glenn Yong, Gulf Kanawut, Kanyawee Songmuang, Kritsanapoom Pibulsonggram, Maylada Susri, Raisa Andriana, Win Metawin, Yoyo Cao and Yung Raja.
This year’s edition of Burberry takeovers follows a successful series in 2021 in Bangkok, Dubai, Ibiza, Miami, Mykonos and Xiamen. For the 2022 edition, Burberry is taking over the beach club of Loulou Ramatuelle in Saint-Tropez, Ananti Cove Busan in South Korea, Tanjong Beach Club in Singapore and one final location in Ibiza, which remains to be announced. Of the three takeovers now open, all mark the first-ever branded takeovers in the history of each of the locations.
