THE NEW DIOR SKI CAPSULE / MENSWEAR CREATIONS

Pursuing its exploration of the sportswear universe, the house unveils the creations imagined by Kim Jones for the Dior ski capsule that push the boundaries of inventiveness and performance. As part of this, Dior takes up the dialogue initiated with poc via a range of protective equipment, including body armor, helmets and masks in top-of-the-range materials, fusing innovation and exceptional design. This vision is also expressed in the down jackets, pants and ski-suits created in collaboration with descente – a Japanese sports clothing specialist –, on which the symbols of the house are deployed. A look at once dynamic and couture, accentuated by unprecedented accessories, such as Dior explorer bags, reinvented in a technical fabric adorned with the cd Diamondsignature, and lace-up ankle boots or the Dior peak knit version.

Celebrating artisanship of excellence, the Swiss brand AK ski has developed an ultra-contemporary graphic snowboard for Dior, embellished in turn by striking hues or timeless colors. An ode to surpassing oneself and freedom of movement, this essential line can be discovered in Dior boutiques today.

Caroline Scheufele held a majestic dinner at a secret location to celebrate the unconditional ties binding Chopard with cinema through 25 years of official partnership with the Cannes Film Festival. In tribute to the Maison’s loyalty to the seventh art, 'Chopard Loves Cinema' is the theme of the Red Carpet Collection: 75 Haute Joaillerie creations freely inspired by the cinematic repertoire of Chopard's Co-President and Artistic Director, presented at the occasion of this event. Held in a splendid film studio setting, the dinner ended with an exclusive performance by Sing’Theatre.

Caroline Scheufele invited her guests in Singapore for a prestigious dinner. Echoing the theme of the Red Carpet Collection, the décor for the dinner invited guests to take a journey through the grand history of cinema since its beginnings in black and white.

The 75 creations of the Red Carpet Collection stemming from the jewellery expertise of the Chopard workshops were presented during a stunning fashion show in which the brilliance of the precious stones matched the elegance of the dresses.

The dinner consisted of carefully selected dishes – Black Truffle Confit Hokkaido Scallop Ravioli, Sea Urchin Espuma and Bottarga, Butter Milk Sous Vide Atlantic Black Cod and Caramelized Granny Smith Apple – complemented by wines from Château Monestier La Tour

Known for her legendary evenings studding the Cannes fortnight every year, on this occasion, Sing’Theatre Artistic Director, Nathalie Ribette, curated two sets of musical from Charlie Chaplin and Moulin Rouge. At the end of the performance, DJ Kenneth, took over the turntables, keeping guests on the dance floor until the early hours.
