Chopard is pleased to announce that internationally renowned pianist Wu Muye is to be the new ambassador for the Maison’s L.U.C Collection. Reputed to have "golden fingers", the elegant, talented pianist will showcase the ultimate degree of mechanical sophistication and aesthetic prowess which lies at the heart of this exceptional collection.

The emotions associated with classical music and intricate French conservatory style are a perfect match for Wu Muye’s nature. With French pianist Jacques Rouvier as his mentor, along with many years of immersive training and experience, Wu Muye has successfully delivered countless bursts of inspiration through his performances; while his outstanding talent, meticulous skills and poetic expression have won him numerous international honours and awards. In 2009, he became the only Chinese pianist ever to receive the Perfect Piano Performing Artist Medal by the French Ministry of Culture, the highest honor in the Parisian piano world. Wu Muye has also performed at many prestigious events such as the 50th Anniversary Ceremony for the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France and the Opening Ceremony of the 2016 Group of Twenty Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors, where his intricate performance synchronized the audience's beating hearts. Wu Muye expresses his deep love for music through the melodies he plays, creating impressive, palpable moments.
